Awkward! Mother of groom's outfit and hairdo go head-to-head with bride

The relationship between a daughter-in-law and a mother-in-law is an important one - especially when they share a relationship with the man (or woman) in the middle.
It's a strange thing because, over the years, we've heard of people who get on so well with their in-laws, while others choose to keep a safe distance from each other.
The mother of a bride or groom is usually put under the spotlight at a wedding. It is said that moms of the couple should choose something that's classy, fitting for her age, and something that won't upstage the bride.

Well, the latter was not the case for one mother-in-law whose outfit and hairstyle choice for her son's wedding has come into question after a picture did the rounds.
According to Mirror, the post was first shared on Reddit in a thread which talks of in-law behaviours.
In the pic, you can see the bride in a lace dress with an upstyle hairdo. The mother of the groom wore a similar dress and almost the same hair as the bride.

Users in the post have taken the opportunity to put the mom on blast by saying that it was just wrong and that the look was just way too similar to that of the bride's.
