An eyesore! Doctor carefully removes parasitic worm from man's eye
Updated | By Damon Beard
"Warning: This footage is certainly not for the faint-hearted," says a queasy Damon Beard.
A 60-year-old man went to the doctor complaining of pain and itching in his eye, and the very last thing he ever imagined would happen came true.
Can you imagine the shock at being told that you have a 15cm-long parasitic worm living in your eye?! According to TimesLive, the man from India had a Wuchereria Bancrofti in his eye, a type of worm that is usually spread via mosquito bites.

The footage captured is stomach-churning as the doctor pulls the worm from the man’s eye like a piece of string. If you're sensitive and get grossed out easily, you may want to look away now.
Warning: This footage may not be suitable for sensitive viewers.
