South Africa's very own women's football team were crowned the Queens of the continent after securing a win at WAFCON (Women's Africa Cup of Nations) 2022.
As reported by ECR News, Banyana Banyana were also named as the Women’s National Team of the Year over and above being the champions.

The former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper was murdered at the home of his then-girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo.
On 12 July 2022, ECR Newswatch reported that Advocate Malesela Teffo has withdrawn from the Senzo Meyiwa case.
He told the North Gauteng High Court on Tuesday that he can no longer be part of the trial because he's received numerous threats.
