Zozibini Tunzi returns to South Africa, given new title
Updated | By ECR
Zozibini Tunzi has began her Miss Universe homecoming tour and the country has welcomed her with open arms and a new addition to her portfolio.
After conquering one of the toughest world stages and winning the Miss Universe pageant, South Africa’s Zozibini Tunzi has finally returned home and was welcomed by huge crowds of adoring fans.
Despite the criticism she endured online by trolls, the South African beauty queen continues to walk with poise and has an amazing smile all the time.
In addition to the warm welcome she received upon her return, the South African beauty queen has been appointed the ambassador for Gender-Based Violence by President Cyril Ramaphosa for the entire African continent. According to MSN entertainment online, this appointment was announced by Arts and Culture Deputy Minister Nocawe Mafu during a home coming celebration at a stadium in Mthatha, Eastern Cape.
This appointment comes after Zozi's winning speech showed everyone how passionate she is about the well-being of the girl-child. We wish her all the best with the new appointment and hope it brings about change where change is desperately needed.
