Zoo visitors watch in horror as live donkey is fed to tigers

How shocking is this?!
I was browsing my newsfeed this morning and I could not believe what I was reading when I came across this article.
Social media has been outraged by a video doing the rounds which was shot at the Yancheng Wild Animal World in Changzhou, China. The video shows tigers in the enclosure being fed a live donkey as onlookers watch in horror.
What was so disturbing and upsetting for me was seeing the donkey so reluctant to get into the water and it actually had to be pushed in by zoo workers.
Sure, I understand the concept of feeding the tiger protein, but throwing a live donkey into a captive environment is savage and downright cruel. This type of gore has caused an outcry online and so it should. The zoo should be investigated for performing an act as disturbing as this.
If I was one of the onlookers present and witnessed this, I would have done anything in my power to prevent this from happening. This is truly disturbing and so sad.
