This is not the first time Zodwa Wabantu has ruffled feathers for her panty-less and provocative performances. The question posed after former President Jacob Zuma told her off was if she is a good role model for young girls or not?

It would seem that the Government of Zambia are similarly not impressed and deported her. In a letter marked for Zodwa's attention, the Zambian government cited the following reasons for the rejection:

  1. Three calendar months were not adhered to since her application for entry.
  2. Based on her previous shows in other countries, her performances undermine the country's values.

Look, I get the whole not wearing underwear thing at home, I have been known to sit comfortably while at home. Ladies, let's be honest, who hasn't tossed their bra the moment they get into the car? However, not wearing underwear in public seems like a step too far, but hey, that's just my opinion.

In her conversation with Carol and Ricky, she goes on to say that her choice to not wear underwear is the same as a choice of what type of wig to wear and that she does not enjoy when the media asks if she is wearing panties during her interviews.

At the end of the day, she was paid ahead of the gig, R40,000 to be exact, so an easy day at the office, I would think. Surely when they booked her they knew what they were getting?!

Do you think the Zambian government was wrong for sending her packing or should Zodwa have seen this coming?
