Who's in charge of the home decor in your family?
When it comes to making things look pretty in your home, Jane wants to know who the ultimate decision-maker is?

The other day I popped into a shop to buy a new kitchen clock and was drawn to a printed duvet cover. I casually popped Mr T a picture of it and he came back with the comment: 'Hmm, a little too fem, don't you think?'.

I went back and said 'If anyone can make sleeping under a splash of swans work it's you'. Ha! I laugh remembering a few years ago I went shopping (as I do) and came home with a super girly duvet cover - I'm taking butterflies hidden in a bright spray of pinks, blues, and greens.
Mr T, being who he is, could see my enthusiasm and instead of throwing shade, he graciously, yet not enthusiastically, found himself cuddled up in the most unmanly warmth. Once the novelty had worn off, the cover ended up on another bed and we went back to plain white with splashes of colour through cushions and blankets.

In our home, we both love home-making and love decor and upcycling furniture. We usually walk to the same beat, but every now and then I throw him a curve ball and he loves it. There's nothing more fun than a challenge, right?
