What inventions do you wish existed that would make everyday life easier?
Updated | By Jane Linley-Thomas
When it comes to making life easier, we all wish that some products were already in existence. Jane shares her avocado dilemma and what she wishes for.

Isn't it just heartbreaking when you cut through a seemingly perfect avocado only to be disappointed? Why did the avo even have to lie? Now we do not have any lunch - day ruined!
Nothing irritates me like paying R10 an avo and when you cut into it it's like looking at camouflaged fabric, a mix of brown and dark green and black. Bleak!
I reckon, if I came up with an 'avo scan' that could tell you what's really inside avo I would be very happy and rich.

I have a few inventions that would make life easier for example: How about a trolly with a padded wheel area, who hasn't been hit in the back of the heel by a kid and a wayward trolley? Another one would be a thermometer type system on milk bottles giving you a heads up if the milk has spoiled.
While we have not figured out this plan, it's clear that I'm not alone here, let's have a look at 10 insanely efficient gadgets everyone wishes existed:
- Drip-catcher Coffee Mug
- Pileup Toaster
- Disinfecting Towel Dryer
- Easy-To-Open Bag of Chips
- Water Sterilizer for Food
- Self-Opening Milk Container
- Personalised Coffee Machine
- Yogurt Container With Lid Serving as Spoon
- Alarm That Needs Workout to Turn Off
- This cake pan with a taste-tester portion
Personalised coffee machine for the win! I'll take that any day.
