Watch: Durban thief sneaks into open car door

A Durban man found himself as the unfortunate victim of crime after parking his car in the CBD.
The man can be seen getting out of his car when a robber is spotted lingering around the vehicle. Shortly after, the robber is seen slipping into the car, taking what he needs and walking away without anyone noticing.

We've all heard about remote jamming, but this guy - in the blink of an eye, slid into the back of a car which the owner took to be locked.
This video has been viewed 193,788 times at the time of writing, and it would seem this is not an isolated incident.

It goes to show you that you have to be vigilant at all times.
I am one of those people who checks to see if my car has locked a handful of times. I once walked away thinking it was locked when in fact it wasn't.
