The actor negatively commented about coronavirus and later backtracked with an apology.
Vanessa Hudgens shared a video on her socials questioning the seriousness of the coronavirus pandemic.
In the now infamous video, the 'Powerless' star told her fans: "It's a virus I get it like I respect it, but at the same time, like even if everybody gets it, like yeah, people are gonna die, which is terrible."
Her video followed USA President Donald Trump's announcement on the 17th of March that this pandemic could stretch to July/August.

"I realise my words were insensitive and not at all appropriate for the situation our country and the world are in right now," she said. This has been a huge wake up call to the significance my words have, now more than ever.
