Face it, we're all (or know someone who is) somewhat guilty of being cheap and saving a few pennies. But there's a difference between being frugal and a cheapskate, right?

Times are tough in 2018. With inflation and the petrol price on the rise, most South Africans are looking for ways to save a cent and cut corners wherever they can.
In addition to finding ingenious life and beauty hacks, many South Africans are always on the lookout for practical ways that they can save a bit of cash.

On Tuesday, Jane's producer Zama shockingly admitted to refilling water in her dishwashing liquid bottle in an attempt to make it last longer.
"Everyone needs to calm down. Yes, it's cheap but it is also called being smart. What's the big deal with making my dishwashing liquid last a bit longer? Times are tough, and we all need to find ways to live smarter," she said.
Shocked by her confession, Jane decided to put the question out to the listeners of KZN to find out what the signs of a cheapskate are.
