Toddler almost snatched from trolley in mall
Updated | By Jane Linley-Thomas
Apparently the mother was doing some shopping when a stranger allegedly tried to pick up her daughter. Do you think he was planning on kidnapping her?

A video is doing the rounds on social media of a toddler who was almost snatched from a trolley at the Mall of the South in Alberton.
How hectic is this footage! I want to believe that the man was just trying to help the little girl and not grab her out the trolley while her mom wasn't looking, but it seems a bit suspect, hey?
What I can't believe is how calmly the mother reacts, if I turned around and a stranger had my kid in his hands I would flip out!

It almost seems like the two guys enter the store together and while the one goes one way the other goes the other.
I hate the thought of how this could have panned out, but want to believe it was with good intention.
