Teen survives after falling from amusement park ride

Imagine seeing someone caught by their neck while on a theme park ride? Crikey! How terrifying! Not only for her family but for those around her.
Howard and Leann Winchell, a father and daughter, were enjoying a day out at an amusement park when they witnessed a terrifying scene. A 14-year-old girl was left dangling 25 feet above them while her brother held onto her shirt for dear life.
Gripped by the scene, Howard, his daughter, and other onlookers gathered below the girl to catch her and take her to a place of safety.
When you watch the video, you can hear her screaming as the group below urges her to let go. Howard even reassured her by saying: "I'll catch you, honey. I'm not going to let you fall."

ViraScoop has reported that officials from the park have inspected the ride and it seems that it was in working order, so it's not certain what exactly went wrong.
Once again another heroic act of kindness from complete strangers. It's amazing to see how they came together to help this distressed little girl.
