Teen girl wears mom's dress to prom... 22 years later

This teen took the phrase "if the dress fits, wear it" quite literally - and the result is amazing!
Oh, this is such a wonderful story!
A teen from Ohio, Ally Johnson, has tweeted a picture of her all dressed up for her senior prom. She decided that she would try on her mom's 22-year-old prom dress and she loved it. It was the perfect fit so she decided to wear it.

According to Today, her grandmother decided to hang on to the dress because she thought that one day her daughter, Ally's mom, would have her own daughter and be able to put it to use. What a novel idea!

I love the idea and so hope that one day Lula chooses to wear one of my dresses to a special occasion.
Over the years, I have collected some gorgeous items, but my most sacred of course would have to be my wedding dress.
The black and white vision, complete with a black lace bow, long lace glows, and black gathered roses around the neck, isn't for everyone, but it is incredibly special to me.

On the lesser side of the glamour spectrum, this morning I danced around the house in a gown that my mom gave me some time back. Yes, of course it's leopard print! I love it!
