Sparks fly as man’s e-cigarette explodes

When watching this footage without reading what it is all about you would think that this guy had a firework in his pocket?!

I can't believe this is due to an e-cigarette exploding! There has been so much said and written about the safety and affects of e-cigarettes, but this just throws those theories right out the window!

In the clip you see four men standing outside a nightclub, and all of a sudden this guy starts jumping around with sparks flying out of his pocket. In an interview with Ladepeche, the victim, Amone Britel, said: “Suddenly I heard a noise like sparkler, but 10 times more powerful".

Britel said that after the shock of the explosion, he realised that he had caught fire.

The accident was reportedly so bad that it resulted in him suffering burns to the side of his abdomen and his fingers. Britel has said that he will be taking legal against the store that sold the Chinese battery to him.

Well, you know what they say, smoking is a danger to your health after all.
