Somizi made a genuine apology to South Africa and Fikile Mbalula on Thursday night after he jokingly said the lockdown would be extended before President Cyril Ramaposa made the announcement.
Somizi was caught on a live Instagram video telling his co-workers that the President will announce a lockdown extension tonight and he knew this information because he had just spoken to MEC of Transport, Fikile Mbalula.

You know why Somizi Mhlongo plays around issues of national importance with Fikile Mbalula. It is because the government & ministers we have aspire to become celebrities. Government to them is some entertainment industry hence so much misbehaviour from Mbalula, Cele to Stella.
