Social media outraged over mom piercing daughter's dimple
Some have even gone to the extent of saying that what this mom did was abuse. What do you think?
I, like many of the internet's users, have a lot of things to say and live in a world where everyone has ADHD at some stage or the other. Our attention is split between so many things. We multitask a multitude of things at once.
I saw this picture of a smiling baby with a dimple piercing and thought, 'Oh my gosh! What mother would give their baby a dimple piercing at such a young age?'

Needless to say once reading more, I figured that this same mom is against everything from circumcision to ear piercings, so it was tongue-in-cheek sarcasm more than anything. The mom ended up posting the photoshopped image to ruffle a good few feathers.
She recently told On Air with Ryan Seacrest that she could not believe that people actually thought it was real. She received so much backlash that her Facebook account was temporarily deactivated.
My husband and I have chosen to circumcise our sons. I don't want my daughter to have her ears pierced until she's at least 16. But it's a very personal thing, I guess, like most things when it comes to parenting.
