According to Mzansi Magic, the young superstar that had South Africa "wow'd", Yanga Sobetwa, was not paid her cash money prize.

"When Yanga Sobetwa clinched that winner's title on 'Idols SA' season 14, many were excited and proud of her because she had a promising future in the music industry," Andi James said.

Yanga, as a season 14 winner, was promised a lot of prizes, including a cash prize, but as we hear it, apparently she hasn't been paid to date her Million Rand prize.
