Restaurant employee fired after posting photo of dirty tray

A McDonald's employee has claimed that he was fired after posting a photo of a drip tray from their ice-cream machine which looks, uhm, not very nice, to put it lightly.

McDonald's has since released a statement, adding that their cleanliness and safety levels are of high importance to them and that all their products go for regular cleaning.

I hate this type of thing - totally unhygienic vibes, no thank you! We have all heard urban legends of deep fried rats in batter and dirty rags found in soup. This kind of backs those stories up!
