After seeing this picture, you will know the amount of strain that your legs take after cycling for over 23 days!
Holy smoke! This is one image that I simply can't unsee!
When I think of a cyclist's legs I think of smooth sculpted perfection. I mean, spending all that time cycling and preparing for a big race is bound to get legs toned and ready? But this is just on another level.

A Polish cyclist has taken to his Instagram to show how tired his legs looked after he took part in the Tour de France - one of the biggest annual multi-stage bicycle races in the world.
The race sees cyclists cycling for almost 2200 miles (which is just over 3500 kms for us South Africans) for over 23 days. Can you even imagine the strain that your legs would take? Well, stop imagining. Now you get to see first-hand thanks to this cyclist.
Rather than looking like these legs belong to a professional cyclist, his legs look like they have been dug up from some archaeological ruin. According to On Air With Ryan Seacrest, it seems that his veins pop out more due to a condition he has because of the extra amount of blood flowing to his legs. It looks pretty painful. Ouch!

I really salute professional cyclists. As for me, the only type of cycling that I will stick to is along the beachfront on my pink cruiser, complete with basket and bell.
After sixteen stages I think my legs look little tired 😬 #tourdefrance
