Pawternity leave? Listeners share their thoughts with Stacey

It's 2019 and while some are getting ready to tie the knot and have babies, others, like me, are cuddling up to their fur babies instead.

Some people really love their pets. Goku is my rescue cat and I cannot imagine my life without him.
Apparently some pet lovers the world are advocating for pawternity leave. Basically, it's like maternity leave, but for when you get a pet.
Would I have loved a bit of time off to bond with Goku when I got him? Hell yes. Goku, however, may tend to disagree, but that's just because he's a cat. He's weird but I love him.

I put the question out to listeners on Thursday to get their thoughts on pawternity leave. The animal lovers came all the way through, and some disagreed.
