A mother and a father thought that there was nothing wrong with selling their child.
A couple decided to sell their daughter because they were struggling financially.
The parents had their daughter when they were 19-years-old and made the decision to sell their child so that they could buy goods.
The mother of the child reportedly told police: ‘I myself was adopted, and many people in my hometown send their kids to other people to raise them. I really didn’t know that it was illegal.’
The buyer said that the baby was purchased for his sister. The child is still with her while officials investigate the matter.
This story makes my blood boil as I have friends who after many emotional years and spending truckloads of money still can't fall pregnant.
I can only imagine that the mom, who is 19-years-old will in years to come, deal with debilitating guilt.
