Morningside robbery angers many on social media
The footage was taken on 11 November and only recently surfaced on social media.
When watching this footage, I firstly feel fear, and then sadness sets in. I cannot help but feel these guys are acting out of desperation, almost to feed a habit or get food on the table.
A video of a terrifying robbery has been doing the rounds after it was uploaded by Intelligence Bureau SA and shared on their Facebook page. The video, which has already got over 115,000 views, shows four guys and a driver in a silver Polo raiding a business in Morningside. Using crowbars, they gained access to the building and managed to steal laptops and other equipment, according to News24.

Although it's terrifying to watch, as a mother, I watched the footage with a heavy heart knowing that these boys belong to a mother.
Many took to social media to express their outrage about this robbery and about the spate of robberies in South Africa.
