TV personality Maps Maponyane has proved that he's a man of many talents. We first heard about his new venture when he made an announced on his social media that he was opening a restaurant in Linden, Johannesburg, named 'Buns Out'.
He shared an Instagram post with his mother, who he dubbed as his biggest critic.
Following the launch of the Buns Out Durban branch, our very own Mike V sat down with the television personality to get the scoop on the new venture.
"I feel like Durban never gets the things that are new and out there! I've been really lucky that something like Buns Out has a hype."
He continued to share his thoughts on how Durban has always been on the backburner when it comes to getting anything and how he is excited to be part of the crew that's bringing amazing things to Durban.
He also mentioned how he has always loved food - and burgers in particular. His love for the fast food industry began when he had an opportunity to eat delicious burgers from all over the world. One of his aspirations was to open a restaurant before he turned 30.
