This couple is melting the hearts of many. They have been married for 53 years and still go on a burger date every week. Each time they are out, the grandma sends a picture of her husband to their granddaughter. This is so cute and inspiring.

Mike and I, before the kids arrived, would revel in each other's company, day in and day out. Since having kids, we find it hard to find the time and energy to not just crash on the couch at the end of the day, let alone get all dressed up for a dinner date!

Last night, we had a parents evening and were going to leave the kids at home, go to the meeting, and then on to our favourite local Italian restaurant for some tummy down time.
However, the kids were told at school that there would be a ‘cool' movie showing while we chatted to the teacher and so instead of our dinner plans, all three kids came along and we hit a drive-thru on the way home.
Tonight, however, we have plans to go out for dinner. Just the two of us. Yay!
