Man sent home from work for wearing this?!

I love a guy with a sense of humour!  

When I came across this guy's pictures on Twitter, it got me thinking. I've got a question which I think is fair - Why is it fine for women to wear skirts and dresses to work but for a guy showing the knee it is deemed unacceptable?

In saying that, it also depends on the nature of the task at hand, I suppose. Likely you wouldn't expect a lawyer to be in court, defending a case, wearing short and sandals?

If you work in a formal work environment, I suppose it wouldn't be accepted by the suit gang? For me, I absolutely love fusing the whole casual and formal look together. You know, like a formal top and capris or even shorts. 

However, Joey Barge's boss doesn't quite like the idea of fusing the formal with the casual. During a recent heatwave, this young call center worker from England thought he would wear a formal shirt with tailored shorts to work.

His boss wasn't terribly impressed so he decided to send him home - even adding that he violated the dress code. So in protest he came back to work wearing a pink dress! Haha! 

His action of protest didn't go unnoticed. Management agreed to revise the dress code to now include shorts so one could say that all of this wasn't in vain.

I think the dress suited him. What do you think?
