Long toenails: A growing trend

Every now and then you have something pop up on your Facebook news feed that makes you take a second look. I came across this picture on Facebook which could possibly be the latest beauty trend for your toenails!

This can't be for real? I mean, from a logistical standpoint is this even possible? Obviously closed shoes are not an option but how do you walk with these long toenails on?!

I know different strokes for different folks, but this certainly doesn't excite me.
