Little girl tries to trick her mom but fails adorably!
Updated | By Jane Linley-Thomas
Part of the fun of a surprise is trying to figure out what
it is, and one little girl had a very clever way to do that, though it didn’t
really work out.
Like little Lily, I don’t favour surprises.
I would much rather know and get excited about a present or party than be blindsided.
Lily wrote a letter to her mom pretending to be her dad, Don. Lily tried to find out what her surprise was by sending her this handwritten note.
Her first obvious mistake was that she addressed the letter as 'Dear Wife'
As a kid I used to always find where my mom had stashed the wrapped Christmas/birthday presents and when they went out for the evening, I would meticulously undo the sticky tape, get a quick peak at the loot and then like a professional present wrapper, stick down the evidence.
I think having been surprised by a Meatloaf and Abba CD many moons ago when I was wishing for the latest Bon Jovi may have fasted tracked my lackluster approach to public unwrapping of presents.
Lily gets an A for creativity on this one.
