This mom lost her sons because of co-sleeping. What are your thoughts on this?
I'm sure at some point or another, as a parent, you have had your bed invaded by a small child who can't sleep, isn't well or wants the comfort of a warm body to sleep next to?

In fact, just last night was the first time in a few nights that Mike and I woke up and none of the kids had wondered through to our bedroom during the night. A study conducted shows that over 80 percent of parents co-sleep on occasion.
One mom is paying the ultimate price for this, however, after a judge ruled that her children should be put up for adoption after she refused to stop letting her kids sleep in her bed, even after she was warned to stop. The judge noticed that her youngest boy had unintentional bruises which occurred from co-sleeping.
I mean, sure, when the kids were newborn there was the concern of them having one of us roll on them during the night (three kids down and that never happened to us once). More common was the roll off the bed.

For me I know it's something that is only going to happen for so long and if one or all come through, find a gap between us, and lie quietly, I have no problem with it.
I do however get vocal when they arrive bedside with energy and a sense of entitlement commandeering blankets, pillows, and space.
