Jay-Z and Beyoncé's daughter bids R228,000 for a piece of art

Beyoncé, Jay-Z and their six-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy recently attended the Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles.
Rapper Jay-Z and Queen Bey let their six-year-old daughter bid twice for artwork that she liked at the Wearable Art Gala.

The Carter family were attending a Gala night that celebrated the work of Beyoncé, Tina Knowles, and other Samaritans that were honoured for their humanitarian work.
According to Vanity Fair, Blue raised her paddle and bid $17,000 on an acrylic painting of a young Sidney Poitier. When the price went up, she made another bid at $19,000. This is when her father can be seen playfully getting his daughter to stop. In the end, she lost to Tyler Perry but won the second piece of artwork she loved. You got to give it to her - she saw what she wanted and went right for it. You got to love a determined little girl!

All proceeds went to the W.A.C.O. (Where Art Can Occur) Theater Center which aims to provide teen mentorship programs and a place where individuals are encouraged to use their self-expression through theatre and art.
