Besides the race to put up the Christmas tree and the rush to get the perfect gift, for couples, the festive season may just be the time when they meet their significant other's family for the first time.

Irrespective of being assured that everything will be alright, it's really difficult to make sure that you won't end up messing it up because, hey, first impressions last, remember.
To overcome the butterflies and feelings of being overwhelmed, I've decided to share with you a few pointers to help you through the stress of it all.
- Be yourself - If you going in fronting, things can only end badly.
- Arrive with a kind, open heart.
- Have manners - An obvious one that so many forget.
- Show Respect - Because how could your future in-laws not be delighted at you for being respectful, right?!
