Introducing your brand new daytime traffic reporter, Andi James
Updated | By Justin James
There's a new voice that will be keeping you updated with the traffic between 12pm and 7pm weekdays. We took the time to get to know her a bit better.
If you tune in during your workday, you would have noticed that there is a fresh, funky new voice that has taken over the airwaves?
Well, that's Andi James, a 23-year-old who is passionate about radio and who is ready to take on the new challenge of keeping East Coasters up to date about the KZN traffic.

Andi's first traffic bulletin took place last Friday during the Jane Linley-Thomas show and she was a complete natural, albeit she was very nervous. In case you missed it, we managed to secure a recording of her first report. Listen to it below:
- What's your full name? Andisiwe James.
- Where are you from? Eastern Cape (Lusikisiki).
- Your hobbies or interests? Drinking wine and watching series. Shameless, Breaking Bad and Game Of Thrones.
- What drives you as an individual? To be successful and not to have ifs, buts or maybes.
- What are you passionate about? Fat hamsters, wine, and cooking the next best vegan meal.
- Your likes and dislikes? My likes include wine (of course) and dislikes include loud chewing.
- Your thoughts on your new time slot on traffic? - I love that I start at midday. I get more time to sleep in and I don’t have to cook dinner all the time. Yay!
- What do you plan on bringing to the team and listeners of KZN? - Laughter and the most accurate and up to date reports about the KZN traffic.
