How obsessed are you with your health and do you have a fear of death?

In an age where there are an increased number of health issues, it's important to check up on your health regularly, but how often should you make a trip to the doctor?
I hardly go to the doctor, thank goodness, as these days getting sick is a costly affair!
I know a guy who is totally obsessed with his health and has a new alignment every week and fears the worst. He goes at least once a month to have a check-up.

I must say since becoming a mom I have become a lot more conscious of my safety and well being.

On the flip side of being totally health and life obsessed, I also know of women who neglect their health and would rather not go and have their boobs checked or for their annual gynaecological check-up, which is as bad as being totally obsessed.
With the aid of 'Doctor Google', many people research their ailments and self-diagnose - turning a simple headache into a brain tumour or making light of something serious.

I know that in current economic times, it's very important to watch how we spend but taking care of your health - not excessively - is very important to ensure that you live a long and healthy life.
