This hot chocolate recipe will make your drool
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
Nothing warms up a cold day better than a cup of delicious hot chocolate.
We are putting a spin on the traditional hot chocolate recipe your mother made you when you were a kid, you know, the one made with cocoa powder!
We’re stepping things up with a decadent version that will likely make you feel like you have died and gone to heaven!
What you will need:
A slab of your favourite chocolate (half per serving)
Cup of full cream milk
Cadbury tumbles (shortcake)
Optional extras: wafer stick, whipped cream, marshmallows
Preparation
1. Heat your milk over a stove on medium heat, careful not to make it burn.
2. Break or cut your slab of chocolate into very small pieces.
3. Add the chocolate pieces to the milk and stir until smooth.
4. Pour the hot chocolate into a cup, and add a few tumbles while the mixture is still warm. This will ensure the chocolate around the tumbles melt, leaving you with crunchy biscuit bites.
5. Optional: Top off your drink with some whip cream foam, a wafer stick, and marshmallow pieces
