#GetReal: Meet Vashti and Catherine
Updated | By Jane Linley-Thomas
Vashti and Catherine are the final two inspirational women who are taking part in the #GetReal campaign in an effort
to create awareness about imperfections and self-acceptance.
Meet Vashti
Vashti Sarah Naidoo from Seatides on the Dolphin Coast is a 30-something marketing professional who has a real zest for life. She is very proud of her degrees which include an M.Com in Marketing Management and a B.Com Honours in Marketing.
The things that Vashti loves most about her body are her athletic legs, her cheek bones and well as her eyes. Vashti’s secret to her confidence is her strong center – which includes prayer and the quieting of her mind.
Her aim in taking part in the shoot is to inspire other women to be pioneers and to teach them to cultivate the beauty of their minds.

Meet Catherine
Catherine De Klerk, 46, lives in Hilton, Pietermaritzburg. She has been married for 25 years and has four kids. She is a fulltime stay-at-home mom and absolutely loves it. Catherine has also picked up art as a hobby and enjoys producing work for others.
Catherine describes a real woman as someone who stands up for herself and accepts her own weakness and acknowledges the strengths. The things she loves most about her body are her naturally long eyelashes and the fact that her body could grow and home all four of her kids.
She hopes by taking part in the shoot that she will be able to touch women’s lives by showing them that living a happy life has absolutely nothing to do with the way you look.
