Do you remember the time when you wrote matric exams?

After seeing headlines that matric exams are a few weeks away, Jane decided to get all nostalgic and reflect on the days when she was in matric.
You know the year is flying by way too fast when you see the headlines in the media that the matric exams are just around the corner.

It is said that just over 150,000 candidates will put pen to paper in the most important set of exams of their lives. The exams will begin on October 23rd and the results will be released on January 4th, 2018. Writing exams is one thing, but it's the waiting for the results which is enough to make anyone frantic.

Hearing all the talk about matric made me reflect on the time when I was a young schoolgirl. I honestly don't know how I passed matric. I think the teachers had a group meeting and decided to push me through regardless just to get me out their hair! I was a shocking student and only excelled in what was of great interest to me, which, of course, was mainly drama and Toastmasters.Even now when my kids ask me questions that I have to ponder over, I always rely on my trusted Mr Google to see me through. That's one man you can always rely on - well, Mr T tops the list of men that I can rely on.
