Daughter thanks her security guard father for putting her through varsity

Gratitude is such a beautiful thing. Now that I'm a mom, I have overwhelming gratitude to my parents for all the things that they have sacrificed to give me the life I have.

Both my sister and I attended a private school during our entire schooling career and in saying that, my mom went overseas for the first time last year, something she could have done many times over, but she chose to give us the best that both her and my dad could give us. 

Being a parent is really such a humbling experience and it's so wonderful to see how this young woman extended her love and appreciation to her dad. Twitter user @Thoby_Mabanga shared a picture of her alongside her dad, who is a security guard, at her graduation. Her tweet has gone viral as she proved that after all the sacrifices that her dad made for her, she still took the time to show him love and appreciation for all that he did to get her to where she is today. 

You can see clearly the pride in this picture. It totally warms my heart. What a proud moment - one that he would never forget for the rest of his life.
