'How could someone behave in this manner? His behaviour is absolutely disgusting!' - Jane Linley-Thomas.

I have not seen anything this unsettling in a long, long time. This man is an absolute disgrace and if he is doing this in public, can you imagine what he is doing behind closed doors?
According to IOL, this man, who is a club DJ up in Johannesburg, was seen on camera hitting his wife with a spanner over the head. It is said that the incident took place at a petrol station on the R21 towards Pretoria.

Many on social media have condemned the vicious attack - even our very own Police Minister released a statement on Twitter speaking out against the attack.
I condem the actions of "Dj Khomza" in the strongest terms and commend SAPS for arresting him as he now will appear in court at Tembisa pic.twitter.com/eXmDkGzCqA

I can't believe how calm everyone around the car is. If that was my friend, I would be losing my mind as this bully starts to hit her on the head with a spanner.
I tell my kids often that the bully is the one that needs love the most, but watching this helpless woman lying bleeding behind her coat, I feel no sympathy towards this broken, damaged, and despicable man.

This video really upset me. The violence is jarring, the lack of action from bystanders is frightening, and the thought of this monster being able to walk the streets with such anger and rage makes me feel uneasy.
Warning: This video contains strong language and is not for sensitive viewers.
The DJ has taken to his social media to post an apology for his actions but has since removed his profile. Screenshots of his apology have been making the rounds on social media.

Thankfully, the woman who was assaulted is recovering from her injuries in hospital while the man who assaulted her will be in custody until 4 October. I hope he's prosecuted to the full extent of the law for his sick actions.
If you were a bystander in this situation, how would you have reacted if you witnessed this before your eyes?
