Boyfriend fakes death to propose to girlfriend

Could this be the cruelest way to propose ever?

It is a very interesting and exciting time for a couple when they decide to take things to the next level in their relationship. However, there is a way to go about it and a way not to go about it - something this guy should have been told.
A video has been doing the rounds on social media which shows a man who took a different approach when it comes to proposing to his girlfriend. The footage, shot in Nigeria, shows a man sprawled on the street after he was supposedly knocked over by a car.

His traumatised girlfriend rushes over to him thinking that he has been seriously injured and is in disbelief about the whole situation, even breaking down in public. She rushes over to him, pushing everyone out of her way. At this point, she is sobbing uncontrollably.
However, a few moments later, the boyfriend, who was now thought to be dead, gets up from the ground. Everyone, especially the girlfriend, is in awe. He then gets down on one knee and proposes to her. This was his plan all along.

One can only imagine what was running through her head at this point. So many emotions could have gone through her head. At one point during the video, she looks like she was going to say "no", but she eventually gives into her emotions and allows him to embrace her. All’s well that ends well.
