Beautiful News inspires throughout Women’s Month

celebrated Women’s Month by showcasing a month of phenomenal women.
Every day, Beautiful News released one short film that embodies the spirit, resilience, and strength of South African women. By dedicating an entire month of content to these remarkable women, Beautiful News is bolstering its mission to celebrate the infinite potential of South African people.

Beautiful News published one short film per day that showcased women taking the future into their own hands. Koketso Moeti developed an app for social justice. Transgender activist Cloe Gair created opportunity with perfume. Athlete Rikenette Steenkamp smashed a national record after a crippling operation. Down Syndrome ambassador Shéri Brynard addressed the United Nations. And Cabangile Mdluli fought poverty after raising her siblings on just R640 per month - to name but a few that are contributing to the shape of our nation.

To date, the stories released in August have achieved more than five million views. As Women’s Month draws to a close, Beautiful News continues to salute the exceptional women in South Africa with year-round stories that inspire, empower, and spark further positive change.
