So my partner and I have been together for three years and I was finally ready to take the next step. So I proposed and luckily she said yes, she really liked the ring and I happened to mention that I was glad I kept it from five years ago.
She asked me if it was a family heirloom and I told her I’d bought it for my ex-girlfriend but she said no when I asked her to marry me. my fiance got so mad and threw the ring in my face. I tried to explain that it was expensive and I could not return it but she doesn’t want to hear it. I don’t know what she is mad about because the ex never used the ring and she initially loved it when I proposed.
