Year in Review: Dad runs off with girlfriend's mother after she gives birth to his son

Jess Aldridge, 24, was expecting her second child with her boyfriend, Ryan, 29.
The couple decided to stay with Jess' mother, who would help the parents to juggle being the parents of two young children. Grandmother Georgina, who is 44, started flirting with her daughter's boyfriend weeks after the pair moved into her home. Soon after, the two began a full on affair behind Jess' back.
As it turns out, the affair happened throughout Jess' pregnancy.
The story gets worse. After Jess gave birth and returned to her mother's home with her newborn, her boyfriend and her mother had run off and moved in together in a new home.
Jess confronted her mom and now ex-boyfriend about their behaviour. They both were far from remorseful.
Jess' mother shared that "We could not help but fall in love."
Jess was interviewed by The Sun and had this to say about the betrayal of her boyfriend and mother:
It's the ultimate betrayal. You expect a new grandmother to fall in love with the baby — not the father. She is meant to be a granny to my two children and helping me look after them but instead she's off fooling around with my boyfriend.
Since the incident, Jess has welcomed a little baby boy as well, although the identity of the father is unknown.
Hopefully, the little family didn't have any more drama for the rest of the year.
