This awkward situation has been dubbed “date night food-theft” by internet users around the world. But one restaurant seems to have come up with a solution. See below:

As per the picture above, the side order of "my girlfriend is not hungry" offers a solution which adds “extra french fries to your entrée, and fried chicken wings (2) or fried cheese sticks (3).” These are all the things that often get snatched by the other half.
This small restaurant has been cooking up the side dish for a while and went viral a few years ago. This story is making a huge comeback as dating season is in full swing.
