In a move that's left many barking mad, Indian dog enthusiast S Sathish has splashed out a staggering R83 million on the world's most expensive dog.

Cadabomb Okami, an eight-month-old "wolfdog", is a rare cross between a wolf and a caucasian shepherd.

Standing at an impressive 76cm tall and weighing 75 kg, this pup is certainly one of a kind.

Sathish, a well-known dog breeder from Bengaluru, has a penchant for rare breeds and has spent a small fortune on his canine collection.

Last year, he forked out R45 million for a chow chow that bears a striking resemblance to a Qinling panda.

Sathish's love for dogs knows no bounds, and his estate covers a whopping seven hectares, providing ample space for his 150-strong pack to roam.

With six keepers on hand to cater to their every need, these pooches are living the high life.

However, Sathish's investment is not just a labour of love; it's also a savvy business move.

He charges a pretty penny for appearances, with prices ranging from R39,000 to R150,000 for a 30-minute to five-hour meet-and-greet.

With crowds flocking to catch a glimpse of his rare breeds, Sathish is smiling all the way to the bank.
