Women discover their family connection after meeting on TikTok
Social media is known for bringing people together, but this story is one in a million!
TikTok is a weird and wonderful place.
You can find almost anything on the social media platform.

From hilarious videos to amazing dance challenges, but, most importantly, you can even find long-lost family members!
You might find it hard to believe, but it's happened before.

Recently, two other strangers in the city of Zhengzhou, in the Chinese province of Henan, entered each other's lives by pure coincidence.
Cheng Keke's younger sister was the one who brought it to her attention that she looked very similar to another girl she had seen on Douyin (Chinese version of TikTok), called Zhang Li.

Cheng saw the uncanny resemblance and decided to reach out to Zhang and the two hit it off immediately.
They soon realised that they had many of the same interests and hobbies and their bond grew even stronger.
They even discovered that they have the same blood type (don't ask us how that conversation happened).

After meeting in person for the first time in March 2021, they quickly noticed how much more similar they are in person.
We speak in exactly the same voice. When we are together, it is like looking in a mirror.

The two became more suspicious and Cheng continuously spoke about her doppelgänger to her parents. Finally, they admitted that she was adopted, while Zhang's mother said that they were not able to afford to keep another daughter and they never knew what had happened to her.
The two were excited to take their DNA tests that would confirm, or deny, their suspicions.
On the 29th of April, their results came back and they are indeed twins!
The twins were overcome with emotions but are happy knowing they have found each other after all this time.
There's just something about family - when you know, you know.
