Woman swims from Bangladesh to India to marry her Facebook boyfriend

Arrested in the name of love...
Love is a powerful thing and for some there are no depths as to how far one will go in the name of love.
In an interesting turn of events, this woman professed her love to her Facebook boyfriend by swimming to Kolkata, India to marry him.
She swam for an hour in the Matla river after crossing the Sunderbans to meet and marry her boyfriend.

The journey was rough and normally takes about 8 hours to travel by car. Even longer on foot.

Not only did this woman have to go through the uncertainty that comes with an online boyfriend, but she physically endured uneasy conditions to get to India.
Unfortunately, this love story did not have a happy ending as Krishna Mandal, a 22-year-old woman from Bangladesh, was arrested when she entered India.
Despite not having a passport or legal travel documents, it did not stop her from seeing her true love.

Krishna Mandal met her boo Abhik Mandal on social media where sparks flew and they fell in love with each other.
Swamps, dirty waters, muddy paths, and the mangrove forest is what the 22-year-old went through on her journey.
