When do you introduce your partner to your children?

Being a single parent is difficult enough as it is, without dating even being mentioned. You have be able to give your children the best of both words - a mother and a father's love.

Now imagine having a whole full-blown relationship with another person that you also have to pay full attention to?

So when do you think is a great time to pull your two worlds together? Because once you are in a relationship, a lot of your time has to be shared amongst your new partner and child. 

If you’ve gotten to the point where you’re considering introducing somebody you’re dating to your children, consider yourself lucky. You have basically overcome so many hurdles and found somebody who was willing to stick it out with you.

On listener was so happy with the idea that they were even okay with the child calling the partner father and JSbu just wasn't having it.
