What would you do if you found a doll's face in the cellar wall of your home?
Updated | By Stacey and JSbu
Well, recently a woman was advised to 'move out immediately' after she discovered a doll's face in the wall of her basement.. how scary?!
Imagine buying a house and discovering there's a doll's face stuck in the wall in your cellar. If that's not creepy, we don't what is...
After the shocking discovery, the owner's sister thought it would be a great idea to get an outside opinion on what they had found. The sister posted on Twitter sharing some photos of the creepy decorative doll for proof.
Alongside the pictures, she wrote:
My sister moved into a new house and found this in the wall of her basement.- Sister

The tweet clearly made people feel some type of way because it received more than half-a-million likes as people tried to get their heads around the whole thing. Because if we are being honest, you don't see this every day.
One person replied:
Nah. It ain't her house no more. Move. Why didn't she check the basement before?!- Twitter user
Another zoomed in on the doll's missing eye:

Another person wrote:
OK, first of all, I understand that we're all going to go to the 'holy crap that's creepy' place. I'm actually thinking that it was somebody with a sense of humor and it's funny. I would put a frame around it and keep it on the wall just like that.- Twitter user
And while this was all going on, a fourth person offered up an explanation of sorts - but in this case we recommend taking it with a pinch of salt.
They wrote:
Those are cellar babies. In the late 60s/early 70s it was a trend in both NYC and California to embed doll parts in the walls of your house, including basements. Sometimes items were hidden inside of these as well, including newspaper clippings and (rarely) cash. Take a look.- Twitter user
But a lot of people have clearly experienced this because they continued to share their similarly strange doll-related finds:

After many people shared some promotions underneath the tweet, the woman's sister got a bit of stick, to which she replied:
People get upset when you promote products under your tweets but I don't see any of them ponying up the cash my sister needs for her exorcism- Twitter user
Which seems like a fair point, don't you think?
But, KZN, we want to know from you, what would you do if you found a doll's face stuck in your wall at home, just staring at you with those empty eyes?
