What toxic traits do you and your friends share?

Many friendship circles face peer pressure and toxicity. It's difficult to maintain our own identify when we hang around people who have an influence over us.
Thus, there are many shared traits that can be somewhat "toxic". We decided to uncover what these could be.

Some traits that we have identified include gossip, drama, lack of boundaries, and jealousy.
These traits may start off as norms without a friendship, but easily turn toxic when it begins to occur on the daily; reducing your self-confidence and negatively impact the friendship.
Some other examples include: rarely apologising, feeling uncomfortable, trying to change you, and constant comparisons to others.
We decided to ask our listeners what toxic traits they share with their friends are.
It appears that our listeners were hesitant with revealing the toxic traits or perhaps they haven't taken steps to realise what these may be?

Toxic friendships can have a pretty significant impact on our overall well-being. Spending time with people who don’t care about your feelings and impact you negatively can eventually affect your emotional and physical health.
Here are some steps that you can take:
- Take space and time to yourself
- Set boundaries
- Re-evaluate the friendship
- Communicate
- Be direct
- Open up to others and seek advice
- Self-care
