What are you still salty about?
Is there anything from your past that still annoys you to this day? Whether it is big or small, we all have something that we may have forgiven but we simply cannot forget.
The Urban Dictionary defines "salty" as being: 'The act of being upset, angry, or bitter as result of being made fun of or embarrassed. Also a characteristic of a person who feels out of place or is feeling attacked.'
It may be considered as being petty, but many people still have hang ups from things that have happened in the past. Perhaps for you it was when you were involved in a rally race at school and did not make first place based on an inch.
As a young child that can be disappointing, the thoughts of what could have been may linger - we know, that's a bit dramatic...
For some of us our saltiness stems from work related stuff, so perhaps you slogged on a work proposal and you did not get a congratulatory email or fist bump from your boss or someone else was celebrated and not you.
